Each year, the York Theatre Company reaches over 30,000 people? Last season, our theatre company provided more than 200 musical theatre performances!
- The 2009-10 Mainstage season received a combined 17 Drama Desk, Lucille Lortel, Audelco, Callaway, Drama League and Outer Critics Circle nominations, and won the Audelco Award for Best Direction.
- Over 70 musical writers were served by the York and had their works showcased and nurtured through York's Developmental Reading Series, Developmental Lab Productions and NEO 6 Concert.
- More than 4,000 people come to the Developmental Reading Series each year, which is offered free of charge to the general public.
